Announcement: Selected Writers for "The Soul of Delhi: Stories from the Capital.

Dear Writers, Poets & Storytellers,

With immense joy and gratitude, we are delighted to announce the list of selected contributors for our upcoming anthology, The Soul of Delhi: Stories from the Capital.

This journey began with a call for submissions, and we are overwhelmed by the heartfelt response—over 120 entries poured in, each carrying a unique voice, perspective, and essence of Delhi. From its historic lanes to its modern hustle, from lived experiences to poetic musings, your words have brought the city alive in myriad hues.

After a careful review process, we are proud to present the writers whose works have been selected for this anthology—a collection that reflects the spirit, culture, and stories of Delhi in their most authentic forms.

We also take this moment to look back with gratitude at a special milestone in the journey of this anthology. The cover of The Soul of Delhi was revealed during India’s first Sufi Literary Festival “Aaj Rang Hai”, by Dr. Amna Mirza (Academician, Author, Social Entrepreneur, and Curator of Ideas; Associate Professor, SPM College, University of Delhi). Her gracious presence brought an aura of intellect and inspiration to the ceremony.

She was joined by some of our most esteemed dignitaries—Abha Singhal Joshi, Squadron Leader Dr. Toolika Rani, Farah Sarosh, Supreet Bali, Anu Shakti Singh, Siddhartha Yadav, Sajjad Akhtar, and Naaz Farhaa—who added their warmth, wisdom, and energy to the event, making the cover reveal a truly memorable occasion. We are deeply thankful to each one of them for gracing the festival and being a part of this journey.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Advisory Board, Editorial Board, and Curatorial Board members, whose constant guidance, encouragement, and rigorous efforts helped us not only in receiving high-quality submissions but also in carefully screening and shortlisting the very best. Your contribution has been invaluable in shaping this anthology.
