India is a unique nation, whose fabric has been woven by diverse linguistic, cultural and religious threads, held together into a composite national identity by a rich history of cultural evolution.
The idea of a sustained & structured cultural connect between the denizens of different regions was mooted by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to celebrate the birthday of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and also asked the prestigious institutions of the country to come forward to achieve the goal of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat.
As per the guidance of Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat Club MNNIT was formed on December 2019 with the objective to Celebrate the Unity in Diversity of our Nation and to maintain and strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our Country.
The state of Uttar Pradesh has been linked with Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, therefore, the club activities focus on the celebrations of the cultures of these two states.EBSB Club focuses to Showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya for enabling MNNITans to understand and appreciate the diversity that is India, thus fostering a sense of common identity.
The club celebrates 20th day of each month as the EBSB Day.
However, due to covid-19 we had to suspend the celebration of EBSB Day on 20th March 2019.
We request you all to kindly follow the lockdown and always believe-
