നാലര വർഷത്തെ ക്യാംപസ് ജീവിതത്തിനു ശേഷം പെട്ടെന്നാണ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ ജീവിതത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് ഞങ്ങൾ കടക്കുന്നത്. സൗഹൃദങ്ങളും കളിയും ചിരിയുമൊക്കെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ വളരെയധികം വരൾച്ച നേരിടും അപ്പോൾ. പലപ്പോഴും നടുമുറിയെ പണി എടുത്ത് പിന്നെ ഉറങ്ങിയാൽ മതി എന്ന ചിന്തയോടെ ആകും HSമാർ റൂമുകളിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ എന്നിരുന്നാലും ജോലിയിലുപരി തങ്ങളുടെ ഇഷ്ടങ്ങളെ കൂടെ കൊണ്ടുനടക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാറുണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ. മാസ്സ് ഡ്യൂട്ടികൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് എടുത്ത് കിട്ടുന്ന ഒഴിവുകൾ വിശ്രമിക്കാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഇഷ്ട വിനോദങ്ങളിലും മറ്റു കലാ-കായിക ഇനങ്ങളിലും പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ പെടാപ്പാടുപെടാറുണ്ട് പലരും. But when passion overcomes adversities, and when the strenghth of the mind conquers the weakness of the body, they proceed towards excellence. തങ്ങളുടെ HS തിരക്കിനിടയിലും പ്രൊഫഷണൽ താരങ്ങളോട് മത്സരിച്ച് ആലപ്പുഴ സീനിയർ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് ബാസ്കറ്റ് ബോൾ ടീമിൽ ഇടം നേടിയ ഡോ.ശംഭുനാഥ് മോഹനും, തെന്നിന്ത്യയിലെ സൗന്ദര്യ രാണിമാരോട് ഒപ്പം മിസ്സ് സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യ സൗന്ദര്യ മൽസരത്തിൽ ഫൈനൽ റൗണ്ടിലേക്ക് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഡോ.മീര ജോർജുമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിൽ.

ഒരു പാട്ട് ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെയാണ്? കവിഹൃദയത്തിൽ പൊട്ടിമുളയ്ക്കുന്ന വരികൾ കടലാസിൽ മഷിയാകണം. ആ വരികളിലെ ഭാവം മനസ്സിലുൾകൊണ്ട് ശ്രുതിലയതാളരാഗങ്ങൾ തെറ്റാതെ ഈണം പകരണം. വാദ്യോപകരണങ്ങൾ അകമ്പടി നൽകണം. മനസ്സറിഞ്ഞ് ശബ്ദമിടറാതെ ആലപിക്കണം.
ആറു വർഷങ്ങൾ പിന്നിട്ട് ഈ കലാലയത്തിനോട് വിട പറയുമ്പോൾ, കേരളത്തിൽ മറ്റാരും മറ്റൊരു മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലും ചെയ്യാത്ത ഒന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുകയാണ്. സ്വയം വരികളെഴുതി ഈണം പകർന്ന് ആലപിച്ച കുറച്ചു ഗാനങ്ങൾ കോർത്ത് ഇണക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് ഒരു മ്യുസിക് ആൽബം ഞങ്ങളുടെ കലാലയത്തിനു ഞങ്ങൾ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

A souvenir for holding us together. A memoir for those wonderful years. An inspiration for the years to come.
