Rhythm foundation is a foundation to create a platform for all the young music lovers in the town i.e. It will introduce the western classical music along with Indian classical and different music instruments to the city. Unlike other cities, along with classical we always missed a touch of western music which this foundation is here to complete. Member of the foundation are all experienced profes
sionals in the field of music. Rahul Shelar is founder of “Rhythm Foundation” and a great music lover. He owes a Drum Center and trains youngsters in the city. He gained experience by learning hard core western classical drumming in Mumbai through Darshan Doshi who is a well know drummer in India and worked for Shankar Mahadevan, a well known Musician. The first step towards starting something publicly is “Dhol Pathak” which includes nearly 40 members and more who will be performing at various events representing Ahmednagar. Their will be number of activities under this foundation.” Dhol Pathak” is one of them. This foundation is only to create a new platform for all the music lovers and hence will be hosting different competitions at various levels which will include tabla fest, drumming competition, singing competition encouraging various young talents to mark the beginning of their music careers.
