*"Six years ago in Singapore I gave a taxi driver a business card to take me to a particular address.*

*At the last point he circled round the building. His meter read 11$, but he took only 10.*

*I said Henry, your meter reads 11$ how come you are taking only 10.*

*He said Sir, I am a taxi driver, I am supposed to be bringing you straight to the destination. Since I did not know the last spot, I had to circle around the building. Had I brought you straight here, the meter would have read 10$.*

*He said Sir, legally, I can claim 11$ but Honestly and ethically I am entitled to only 10.*

If you ask most people what is their one major objective in life, they would probably give you a vague answer, such as, "I want to be successful, be happy, make a good living," and that is it. They are all wishes and none of them are clear goals.

Goals must be SMART:

1. S--specific. For example, "I want to lose weight." This is wishful thinking. It becomes a goal when I pin myself down to "I will lose 10 pounds in 90 days."

2. M--must be measurable. If we cannot measure it, we cannot accomplish it. Measurement is a way of monitoring our progress.

3. A--must be achievable. Achievable means that it should be out of reach enough to be challenging but it should not be out of sight, otherwise it becomes disheartening.

4. R--realistic. A person who wants to lose 50 pounds in~30 days is being unrealistic.

5. T--time-bound. There should be a starting date and a finishing date.

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed.

The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.

That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.

Moral of the story: If you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent.. This is applicable for any relationship like love, friendship, employer-employee relationship etc., Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully .

Puppies For Sale

A store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies For Sale." Signs like that have a way of attracting small children, and sure enough, a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign. "How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" he asked.

The store owner replied, "Anywhere from Rs 3000 to Rs 5000."

The little boy reached in his pocket and pulled out some change. "I have Rs 10 only," he said. "Can I please look at them?"

The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.

One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, "What's wrong with that little dog?"

The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it didn't have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame.

The little boy became excited. "That is the puppy that I want to buy."

The store owner said, "No, you don't want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you."

The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger, and said, "I don't want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price. In fact, I'll give you Rs 10 now, and 10 Rs a month until I have him paid for."

The store owner countered, "You really don't want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies."

To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, "Well, I don't run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands!"

We ALL need is someone who understand us!!!

According to scientists, the bumblebee's body is too heavy and its wing span too small. Aerodynamically, the bumblebee cannot fly. But the bumblebee doesn't know that and it keeps flying.

When you don't know your limitations, you go out and surprise yourself. In hindsight, you wonder if you had any limitations. The only limitations a person has are those that are self-imposed. Don't let education put limitations on you.

Detachment and Happyness (Inspiring Story)

A man who has gone out of his town comes back and finds that his house is on fire.

It was one of the most beautiful houses in the town, and the man loved the house the most! Many were ready to give double price for the house, but he had never agreed for any price and now it is just burning before his eyes.

And thousands of people have gathered, but nothing can be done, the fire has spread so far that even if you try to put it out, nothing will be saved. So he becomes very sad.

His son comes running and whispers something in his ear:

“Don’t be worried. I sold it yesterday and at a very good price ― three times.The offer was so good I could not wait for you. Forgive me.”

Father said, “thank God, it’s not ours now!” Then the father is relaxed and became a silent watcher, just like 1000s of other watchers.

Please think about it!
Just a moment before he was not a watcher, he was attached.

It is the same house….the same fire…. everything is the same…but now he is not concerned.
In fact started enjoying it just as everybody else in the crowd.

Then the second son comes running, and he says to the father, “What are you doing? You are smiling ― and the house is on fire?” The father said, “Don’t you know, your brother has sold it.”

He said, “we have taken only advance amount, not settled fully. I doubt now that the man is going to purchase it now.”

Again, everything changes!!

Tears which had disappeared, have come back to the father’s eyes, his smile is no more there, his heart is beating fast. The ‘watcher’ is gone. He is again attached.

And then the third son comes, and he says, “That man is a man of his word. I have just come from him. He said, ‘It doesn’t matter whether the house is burnt or not, it is mine. And I am going to pay the price that I have settled for. Neither you knew, nor I knew that the house would catch on fire.'”

Again the joy is back and family became ‘watchers’! The attachment is no more there.

Actually nothing is changing!

just the feeling that

“I am the owner! I am not the owner of the house!”

makes the whole difference.

This simple methodology of watching the mind, that you have nothing to do with it..Everything starts with a Thought !

Most of the thoughts are not yours but from your parents, your teachers, your friends, the books, the movies, the television, the newspapers.

Just count how many thoughts are your own, and you will be surprised that not a single thought is your own. All are from other sources, all are borrowed ― either dumped by others on you, or foolishly dumped by yourself upon yourself, but nothing is yours.

Sow a thought, you reap an action.
Sow an act, you reap a habit.
Sow a habit, you reap a character.
Sow a character, you reap a destiny..!

Everybody Need Trainer....

According to Rajesh Ramola (Life Coach) Entrepreneurs or Any professional in any field are TRAINED.

If you Look Dear, every pro trains. Athletes are made through training. Doctors are made through training. Salespeople are made through training.

At the age 20- 25 people use to hate selling, hate prospecting, and hate everything to do with sales. Even they hate the fact that they have to tell people I am a salesperson.

You know why? Because they dont know what they are doing, they sucked at it, they are not able producing enough and didn't have confidence. The daily ritual that change anyone life is training.

Competence and confidence are critical to how you feel about your business and your industry. Competence and confidence come from training. You have to know what you are doing and have the strategy down to a natural action.

Every morning do a quick work out, then start watching training videos. A person who watched those videos over and over and over again. Then one day he realized that he is starting to understand some of it. It gave him a track to run on. On the way to work he should listen to more training programs about sales, prospecting, follow-up, cold calls, everything to do with selling.

At the end training program is intangible asset...
Like light, air, sound... But also needful for daily affairs....
