Virasat Pathshala: Patan & Siddhpur Heritage Immersion!
We are proud to announce the successful collaboration between ‘Aapni Dharohar’ and ‘Ahmedabad Institute of Technology’ on the two-day Virasat Pathshala campaign.
Students plunged into Patan’s glorious past, visiting the UNESCO heritage site Rani ki Vav and Sahastralinga Talav. The experience included the Patan Heritage Walk and a profound visit to the Patola House, where they witnessed the 900-year-old double-ikat tradition, gaining a valuable industrial perspective on this age-old craft.
Second day, they explore Siddhpur’s sacred and architectural wonders, including the unique Vora Wads, 360 Windows, and the historic Rudramahalaya and Siddhanath Mahadev temples.
This journey was a testament to the power of practical learning, allowing students to experience Gujarat’s heritage first-hand. The campaign successfully concluded, reinforcing that our heritage is a living legacy meant to be explored.
