From picking up my brushes again during the pandemic to creating my largest commission so far — this journey has been anything but ordinary.
I started painting again simply because I missed it. Today, my art is finding its way into homes, spaces and lives in ways I once only imagined.
This massive commission pushed me to think bigger — literally and creatively. It challenged my scale, my patience and my ability to translate an idea into something that commands an entire space.
And yes, it was so large that it couldn’t even fit inside my studio! 😄
There’s still some detailing left, but I’m already incredibly proud of how far this piece has come. The final reveal will be even more special when it is installed at the client’s space.
This is what my second innings as an artist looks like — one painting, one commission and one dream at a time.
