"We have explored the forces of the soul and their impact on us. This raises an important question: While the healthy use of these forces generates significant energy, where does that energy lead us? Where does it all go?
We understand that there is a place within our soul that activates our life experiences. However, we must also consider another aspect of our complex personality: the realm of emotions, the inner place where we experience sensations and feelings—sadness or joy, fear or security, love or hatred, and so on.
This deep place within our soul captures our experiences at every moment, categorizing them as “pleasant” or “unpleasant.” Ultimately, what matters to us is the desire to feel good and be at peace in the present moment.
Where is this soul-place where everything happens?
To answer this question, we must first analyze a fascinating human phenomenon. We occasionally encounter people who suffer materially yet are happy and content. Conversely, more often than not—and in higher percentages than the reverse option—some seem to have all the good in the material world. Yet, they do not stop worrying and complaining about their situation.
How can this be? Is human suffering subject to the individual's decision? Can a person decide, regardless of objective circumstances, whether to suffer or enjoy?
The answer is yes. Absolutely.
The heart is the source of different feelings and the center of human experiences. Feelings and emotions have no tangible hold on visible reality; their entire existence is made possible only through the power of thought. Thus, they directly affect the feelings in the heart. If a person directs all their thoughts toward goodness and joy, instilling faith in their heart, they create a pure Divine space that influences their emotional realm and changes their perspective for the better."
