לאורו אנחנו פותחים הקרנות של פרויקט אייכמן: טרמינל 1.
מופע שנולד מהצורך להתבונן מחדש במשפט אייכמן – לא כדי לשחזר אותו, אלא כדי לעורר שיחה חדשה על האתוס. מתוך שאלות שלא מרפות: על צדק, על חוק, על צייתנות מול תודעה אזרחית, ועל היכולת להביט לרוע בעיניים – לא כזיכרון אלא כמשהו שממשיך לפעום גם היום.
מי ידע כמה הרוע ממשיך לפעום.
איו כאן שחזור של המשפט אלא ניסיון לעוררת מחדש את הסדק שנפער – בין הדמויות המרתקות שהתנגחו זו בזו בתשוקה ובין הדיון המשפטי לפצע החי.
אנו, הצופים, נדרשים לבחור אם רק לצפות – או להפוך לעדים.
היצירה, שהוצגה לראשונה בפסטיבל ישראל והפכה לתחנה דיגיטלית בזמן מגפת הקורונה, מזמינה את הצופים לחוויה אינטימית, פיוטית, חושית, שמתרחשת בדיוק באותו סדק שבין אז לעכשיו.
לא כפתרון זמני, אלא כאמירה אמנותית שלמה.

It’s that time of year
when the bell tolls.
A a moment to pause, reflect, and see differently.
In its light, we are opening screenings of The Eichmann Project: Terminal 1 –
a performance born out of the need to revisit the Eichmann trial.
Not to recreate it,
but to spark a renewed conversation around its ethos.
Questions that won’t let go:
about justice, about law,
about obedience versus civic consciousness,
and about the ability to look evil in the eye –
not as memory,
but as something that still pulses, even today.
Who knew how deeply evil still pulses.
This is not a reenactment,
but an attempt to reawaken the fissure that opened –
between two passionate, clashing worldviews,
between legal discourse and a living wound.
We, the audience, are asked to choose:
Will we just watch – or become witnesses?
The piece, first premiered at the Israel Festival and later transformed into a digital work during the pandemic,
invites viewers into a poetic, intimate, sensory experience,
unfolding precisely in that crack between then and now.
Not as a temporary solution –
but as a complete artistic statement.
