𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀, 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁.

These 2 abstract architectural paintings by artist Talia Israeli , created in 2004 during her MFA studies at Goldsmiths, are installed overlooking one another across two floors.

Designed by Broides Architects , the house's restrained minimalism, its Waschbeton wall cladding, clean horizontal and vertical lines, geometric steel shelving, and finely detailed staircase create a natural dialogue with the paintings.
The paintings' soft palette of pale pinks and whites complements the monochromatic language of the house, allowing the works to become both a subtle contrast and an integral part of the architecture.

It is always remarkable to see how just two artworks can elevate a space, creating an intimate and unique experience.

A beautiful and sensitive exhibition by two fantastic artists, sharing the striking space of zimbalista gallery , and most thoughtfully curated by Sally Haftel Naveh .

אני שמחה לשתף שנפתחה ההרשמה לקורס כתיבת הצהרת אמן במסגרת #𝗧𝗲𝗱𝗱𝘆𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 בהנחייתי - ורד גדיש

אני מזמינה אתכם ל-2 מפגשים אינטנסיביים בהם -
📍נבין את נקודת הפתיחה של כל משתתף עם הצהרת האמן שלו
📍נאתר את החוזקות ואת מוקד העשייה
📍נדייק את ליבת העשייה האמנותית, כפי שהיא עולה מהצהרת האמן
📍נחדד מה הצהרה צריכה לכלול ומה לא, מה השפה הנכונה עבור כל אחד
📍נבנה את הניסוח המקצועי הרלוונטי והמדויק ביותר עבור כל יוצר.

הקורס אינו מבקש לייצר נוסח אחיד של הצהרה, אלא לסייע לכל משתתף למצוא את השפה המדויקת והאותנטית לעשייה שלו.
 הצהרת אמן הינה אחד המסמכים האישיים, החשובים והמורכבים ביותר לכתיבה, שכן האמן נדרש לנסח בכתב באופן ברור, קריא ומעניין את דרך הפעולה האמנותית שלו, כפי שתיקרא על ידי אנשי מקצוע.

המעבר מן העשייה האמנותית בסטודיו למחוזות הכתיבה אינו תמיד קל, במיוחד כאשר האמן נדרש לברר בינו לבין עצמו את עיקר העשייה שלו כפי שיבוא לידי ביטוי בכתב, לחדד נושאים, שאלות וכיווני יצירה, בעודו נמנע מקלישאות, שומר על ענייניות, רלוונטיות וייחוד, ומצליח לנסח הצהרה מקצועית נאמנה לו.
 הצהרת אמן יכולה להשתנות לאורך השנים ואף מומלץ לעדכן ולשנות אותה, כך שתשקף כיוונים חדשים הנאמנים להתפתחות וההתקדמות של האמן עצמו לאורך הקריירה שלו. בנוסף הצהרת אמן המוגשת לגוף מקומי עשויה להיות שונה מהצהרה המוגשת לגוף בינלאומי.

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗮𝘂𝗺 (b. 1992), lives and works in Tel Aviv. He holds a BFA, with distinction, from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem.

His spacious studio is based in a newly built elementary school in Tel Aviv, where he also teaches ceramics and art classes to children.

Flamenbaum is known for his imaginative sculptural worlds that combine ceramics, found objects, and handcrafted elements in playful yet thought-provoking compositions.

His beautifully crafted sculptures and installations draw from personal memory, folklore, craft traditions, and popular culture, creating rich and playful environments full of unexpected connections.

Born in Mexico to Israeli parents, Flamenbaum spent his early childhood there after his family relocated due to his father's work as an agronomist.
Mexican influence is nevertheless evident in his artistic expression, shaped by artist residencies spent there and a sustained personal interest in the country's culture and visual language.

Now on view at in "Five Gazes Backward," a collaboration with the , is his recent installation with textiles, ceramics, and ready-made elements.

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿 (born in Brazil) lives and works in Tel Aviv, and holds a lively and beautiful studio for over a decade, where she works, creates, and allows her plants to grow within and alongside her outdoor pieces.

Craft, materiality, delicacy, and sensitivity are present in everything she touches. Her sculptures and installations bring together traditional handcraft, developed through years of working with artisans in Jingdezhen, China, and her personal contemporary expression.

Recurring forms such as the egg and the bubble appear throughout her work, fragile and suspended, on the verge of cracking or dissolving, holding within them layered drawings and reconfigured motifs.

Her works are beautifully executed and hold a high aesthetic, offering us, through their round shapes and repeated handmade patterns, tranquility and comfort.

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗭𝗮𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝗳 (b. 1978), lives and works in Tel Aviv. He holds a BFA from HaMidrasha Beit Berl College, and an MFA from Boston University, graduating with exceptional excellence.

Shiff’s work involves a dynamic of different materials bound together, evoking human body parts. He examines how shifting shapes and layers influence our reality and imagination, using playful improvisation and humor.
His studio is located inside an elementary school, where he regularly teaches small groups of children during school hours, and at the same time runs a high school art program.

" The moments which most intrigue me are those of deconstructing something, reconstructing it, and transforming it into something else.
I enjoy constantly changing and experimenting with the endless possibilities of transmutation. This process is like a puzzle that does not have to be solved but takes many shapes. " Zak Shiff

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗭𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 (b. 1979, Israel) at his spacious warehouse studio.

Gotesman is a singular virtuoso sculptor working with marble and stone, carving his works directly from the material itself. He also incorporates wood, bronze, concrete, plaster, even chewing gum and readymades.

He studied at BFA , archaeology at , and spent a formative year in Carrara, Italy, learning traditional marble carving techniques.

Gotesman sculptures and reliefs draw on the history of art through classical hand carving methods, while introducing a distinctly contemporary and personal imagery.

Assemblies of dogs and animals rise into fountain like structures, demonic mythic creatures become ornamental patterns, a woman’s bust breast feeding a Pug dog, and more.

Throughout the studio, stone and marble blocks lie scattered awaiting transformation. Among the tools stands an authentic pointing machine, used to translate models in plaster, clay or wax into wood or stone.

Delighted to collaborate with a dear colleague, , in placing his work 'Rise and Fall' in a collectors' home in Malibu, CA, alongside a commissioned installation 'With a Mighty Hand,' composed of 8 limestone panels created for their family living space.

'Rise and Fall' was first presented at the in Gotesman's solo exhibition "Disrupted Layer," curated by .

𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 - 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱

What happens when contemporary art becomes part of a wellness & hospitality experience ?

For in Safed, curator and (Fireflies Project), developed a curatorial concept in response to the hotel brief : a spa and wellness destination located in the historic city of Safed, in the north of Israel.

The title's art project “Four Crafts” drew inspiration from the rich tradition of craft and artisan practice that flourished in Safed during the 16th century.

Working with artists and designers, they selected artworks and also commissioned site specific works rooted in manual techniques and tactile materials.
Among them were embroidery and hand pierced paperwork, multilayered color and plaster works, photocollage, etching, pencil and oil drawing, textile works, and handmade porcelain sculpture.

Integrated with the interior design, the artworks created moments of pause and contemplation within the hotel spaces. Guests were invited to slow down, look closely, and experience the tactility of materials, the delicacy of technique, and the virtuosity of the imagery.

A thoughtful example of how professionally curated art can shape the atmosphere of a hospitality environment and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

This project was part of an ongoing collaboration between Fattal Hotels and the .

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿 (b. 1971, Israel), a pioneer in the field of digital art.

Shor’s practice moves between technology and contemporary spirituality, creating works that function less as static images and more as spaces of perception and experience.

In her series "Art That Moves" (2026), lines expand and contract in slow rhythmic motion, forming what the artist describes as a "liminal space", a moment between structured thought and drifting awareness. The work unfolds gradually, inviting the viewer into a quiet, attentive state.

Her series "The Sutra" (2025) consists of meditative video works inspired by ancient Indian texts, with each piece referring to a specific Sutra.

Alongside her visual practice, Shor has been collaborating with her partner on 'Meditative Sound Journey' sessions, where sound, vibration, and image create a shared contemplative environment.

From an art consulting perspective, works like these open interesting possibilities for hospitality and public spaces, where video art can introduce moments of pause, reflection, and atmosphere within contemporary interiors.
