Gordon Gallery Established in 1966, Gordon Gallery is a leading Israeli fine art gallery with branches in Tel Aviv and New York.

Gordon Gallery is one of Israel's prominent and most established galleries. Since its establishment in 1966, the gallery has published dozens of catalogues and art books and held hundreds of exhibitions. The Gallery is known for its collection of fine Israeli art, one of the largest collections of its kind, as well as for representing todays leading Israeli artists and several important estates. T

he four story gallery space includes a room dedicated to contemporary video works. In 1977 the gallery founded Israel's first auction house, which became one of the corner stones of the Israeli art market. The gallery and auction house played an instrumental part in building some of the most prestigious collections of Israeli art, both in Israel and abroad. Working with a new generation of artists, as a natural continuation to Gordon Gallery, enables both galleries to represent a comprehensive view of art today, with the perspective gained from decades of exhibiting leading contemporary art. In 2016, on its 50th anniversary, Gordon Gallery moved to a new venue at Hazerem Street in southern Tel Aviv, designed by Gottesman-Szmelcman Architects. In its new home, the gallery focuses on contemporary Israeli and international art, with an emphasis on international exhibition collections, centering its attention on the next generation of artists and art lovers. In 2018, an additional, extensive 400-sqm space was inaugurated at nearby 6 Hapelech St., working with a new, younger stable of artists as a natural continuation to the established Gordon Gallery. In 2019, a new Sculpture Garden was installed down the street at 4 Hamanoa St, and in 2021 Gordon Gallery opened an additional space at Sapir Center in Jerusalem’s Givat Shaul neighborhood. The gallery's first international venture, a New York space, opened in December 2023 at 139 Norfolk St. Together, the four art galleries and Sculpture Garden offer a comprehensive view of Israel’s Art of today, combined with the perspective gained from decades of exhibiting leading contemporary art.
