In Hebrew, “Saf” means threshold — a point of transition, a breath before entering, a split second before a leap. In a world that feels on the verge of fracture, we chose to turn a chance encounter into a conscious commitment, and to transform filmmaking from a solitary act into a shared practice. Sharon Shani lives in Tel Aviv. She paints homes that are vividly colored, objects dance and sway, tiles and rugs create textures and patterns. View the whimsical nature of these paintings. Shani studied at CDT, display and design in London. Avni college, Jaffa. Highly appreciated the many years with Arik Ventura, who helped develop her style. The Sofa by Hadas Neuman

On a single red couch, one unexpected movement creates distance between mother and daughter. At night, away from the glare of the past, a small crack of closeness begins to open.

Hadas Neuman is a filmmaker, theatre-maker, and performer working in personal documentary and interdisciplinary creation. She is a graduate of Sapir College and holds an M.A. from the Netherlands Film Academy.
Her films and stage works have been screened internationally and awarded. Among her works are 100 Men, a documentary-performance project developed for stage and film, and A Place to Live, both of which premiered at the Israel Festival 2024 and were nominated for the Golden Hedgehog Award 2025 (A Place to Live received the Ensemble Award).
Her film Two People Will Come, with Balloons (2021) won the NEXT! Award at Docaviv. She co-directed the documentary feature The European Grandma Project, screened and awarded across Europe.
Neuman is currently developing her debut fiction feature Neverland, Forever (Rabinovich Foundation), alongside the documentary short The Docu-Witness (Negev Film Fund), and the documentary-theatrical project Dancing at Every Wedding, selected for Kundura DocLab 2025, Istanbul and Tzavta Short Festival 2025.

Where Language Falls Short by Tamar Peled

Since his wife’s passing, Yigal refuses to lock his door. Along with the house, he gathers dust, trying to bury himself beneath grief and sorrow. What would happen if a thief were to enter?

Bio: Tamar Peled is a director, editor, and creative manager. She graduated with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School. Tamar spent a decade in journalism, notably as the Editor-in-Chief of “Good Morning Israel” on IDF Radio and as a senior researcher for major documentary projects on Kan 11 and News 13. “Where Language Falls Short” (2025), won Best Short Independent Documentary at the Jerusalem International Women’s Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Student Film Festival.

Why Aren’t You Crying? By Gal Rosenbluth

Synopsis: Tamar avoids her grief until her late grandmother’s last frozen meal forces her to face the storm.

Bio: Gal Rosenbluth is a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem working across documentary and fiction with a strong focus on personal stories shaped by politics, identity, and memory. Her debut feature documentary It Is What It Is is currently in production, winner of the CoPro Doc market and and selected for several work-in-progress forums, including EBU Pitching (IDFA), DOK Leipzig Co-Pro Market, MEDIMED, and CEDOC (Krakow FF). Co-creator of the dramedy series NON-ISSUE, winner of the Paramount+ Award at MIA Roma (2023). Her short films, including Arabic Friday, Vivid Ruthie, and Shmita, have screened internationally at festivals such as Haifa IFF, Chicago IFF, and Minikino. In parallel to directing, Gal is also an editor for projects broadcated on platforms including KAN, Sundance TV, and CANAL+.

Tal Movshovitz is a 20-year-old ballroom dancer.
In an international dance competition, the judge asks her why she came, and she remains on stage without an answer.
The film is a journey into her head, heart, thoughts, and feelings

Bar Mardix is an artist, musician, director, and writer.
Bar has written and directed several original plays, including “Talent” and “Small Stories in Goan” (Hasimta Theatre), and his original musical “The IDFE” is set to premiere at the Habima National Theatre in April 2026.
In film, Bar wrote, directed, produced, and composed the score for his award-winning short film “Decisions”, which has won 22 international awards and screened at over 30 festivals, including Dances With Films festival at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
As a musician, he has released four original singles and composed original music and designed sound for various theatre productions.
He holds both a B.Ed and an M.Ed from the Levinsky-Wingate Academic Center’s Faculty of Music Education.
