Every year we see so many talented musicians, artists & story tellers contribute their touch to the festival. For the past few years we’ve been so lucky to have Aimee () create these beautiful art installations using a scavenged foliage. Reminds us all to stay connected to the land we celebrate on!
Growing up in the Chihuahuan Desert, Aimee has been a forager and collector since her early childhood and has been creating nature based and inspired art in the Pacific Northwest for over a decade. As a horticulturist and artist she has bridged a connection to the natural world both through the lenses of science and spirit. She feels a deep sense of gratitude, magic, spirit, and reciprocity in knowing, caring for, and honoring the flora and fauna of our planet throughout all cycles of life, death, decomposition, and transition. The art she creates is an ode to the impermanence of all these things and the grounding connection between Spirit, Nature, healing, and one another.
