Tonight, March 12 at 21:45, Neve Schechter (Aharon Chelouche St 42, Tel Aviv-Yafo) will host MASK FENOMEN, a multimedia performance exploring the nature of masks and identity in the digital age.

At the intersection of body, light, sound, and artificial intelligence, a new image emerges. What happens when an algorithm replaces the mirror? Where is the boundary between the real and the virtual self?

MASK FENOMEN is a live experiment where technology and human presence shape a new reality.

Open Call for Media Artists and Performers

We are organizing a live-streamed artistic performance on Twitter to mark the launch of a new VPN service developed by our partner.
We invite media artists, performers, or art collectives to create a digital project exploring themes of freedom, privacy, and an open internet.

Project Requirements
• A live performance lasting at least three hours.
• Flexible format: digital painting, generative art, data visualization, interactive performance, or other innovative approaches.
• The concept should be engaging and comprehensible within 2–3 minutes, allowing viewers to easily grasp the idea at any point.
• The core themes—digital privacy, anonymity, and unrestricted access—should be conveyed subtly through artistic expression.
• Open to applications from both individual artists and art collectives.
• The primary location for the live stream is Tel Aviv, but we are also open to remote participation proposals.

What We Offer
• An artist fee of up to 8,000₪.
• A platform for creative experimentation with a broad audience.
• Support and promotion from our team and media partners.

How to Apply

Send your portfolio, a brief concept proposal (2–3 sentences), and a visual reference or example of your work via direct message.
Application deadline: 14.02.25.

We look forward to collaborating with you!

On December 28, we closed our exhibition with a symbolic burning of farewell letters. This act served as an emotional conclusion, highlighting the project’s central theme.

We received many heartfelt responses, and it means a lot to us that the exhibition was seen as a sincere, intimate, and almost homely space where visitors could explore the theme of parting in a new way.

We extend our gratitude to all the artists for their works and openness, as well as to the entire team for their dedication and support.

A special congratulations to on her debut as a curator—an impressive and thoughtful first project! Thank you all for being part of this journey!

We at Sviva are honored to be part of a project that touches the deepest parts of the human experience. “Parting: stories of grief and letting go” is more than an exhibition—it’s a space for an open, collective dialogue about loss, transformation, and renewal.

We’ve all felt it: that moment when the familiar slips away, when the past feels so vivid, and the future looms uncertain and unknown. Parting is a universal experience—one we face over and over again in life. It’s often painful, yet it carries within it the seeds of something new.

This exhibition invites us to explore this delicate balance:
• Between the bitterness of loss and the joy of freedom,
• Between pain and release,
• Between the fear of loneliness and the power of self-discovery.

Parting is never just an ending; it’s also a beginning. It’s a threshold where we confront our limits, revisit our emotions, and find the courage to be reborn.

We are especially proud to share that through the open call, the project received 42 submissions from incredible artists. This overwhelming response reminds us of how deeply these themes resonate. Soon, we’ll begin introducing the participating artists, their stories, and a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition’s journey.

When and where?

📍 Shoken 27, Tel Aviv

Yesterday, something truly extraordinary happened. As part of our collaboration with the “Parting: stories of grief and letting go” exhibition, we witnessed the powerful performance “Parting 234”—a visceral exploration of the themes of separation, loss, and transformation.

This performance was more than just an artistic act; it was a raw and intimate ritual, a living dialogue with the audience. Through movement, silence, and powerful visual metaphors, it captured the fragile moments of parting—those in-between states where we mourn what’s gone while daring to embrace what’s yet to come.

“Parting 234” unfolded as a collective experience, weaving together stories of grief and liberation, pain and resilience. It was a moment to reflect on how we carry loss in our bodies and release it, finding freedom in the letting go.

The performance was documented through video, preserving its intensity and emotion for future audiences. The film captures not only the movements and expressions but the essence of what it means to say goodbye and to open ourselves to change.

We’re excited to share that the video documentation of “Parting 234” will become an integral part of the exhibition, allowing more people to connect with this deeply moving work.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday, and to the artists and team who brought this transformative performance to life.

Stay tuned as we prepare to showcase this powerful documentation at Shoken 27, Tel Aviv, on December 27-28. Together, we continue exploring the spaces between loss and new beginnings.

Letting go is never easy, but as this performance reminded us, it can also be beautiful.

We would like to tell you about a new project supported by SVIVA and invite you to the performance Parting 234.

Parting 234 is a performance that delves into the raw, complex moments of parting. It’s about the pain we experience and sometimes inflict, as we try to protect ourselves and preserve our identity when everything familiar starts to slip away.

This performance is part of the project “Parting: stories of grief and letting go”, which we will tell you about a little later.

This project is proudly supported by SVIVA because we believe in creating a space where unspoken emotions can be shared and understood. Through art, we can connect with our feelings and with one another.
