To all of our followers and friends of Hand Made Studio.
Recently, Yael and I lost our dear sweet father. To those of you who visited the studio, you will know him as the kind man who offered you coffee or sandwiches - always with a smile, always polite and always putting in the maximum effort to make sure that whatever he gave you was the best it could possibly be. Many of you remember his smile and for us his presence in the studio was a comfort and an absolute joy. We were so privileged to be able to spend every day together and because we all loved what we did it made the experience in our studio that much more enjoyable.
He passed away suddenly and it has left a deep void in our lives filled with confusion and despair. We know he was so proud of us for opening the studio and he was so disappointed and truly sad for us when we decided to close the studio for personal reasons.
Now that he is gone though, it has kind of solidified our decision to close the studio because, to be honest, I'm not sure that it would be the same for us to be as enthusiastic about our dream without him there - it was a family dream and a family business.
So, the studio is now closed. We loved every second of creating and having fun with each and every person who walked through our doors. We loved preparing and entertaining at the parties and chuggim and Yael and I particularly loved working with each other. We will cherish the memories and always be proud that we were able to set up the studio and make it a success.
After Shloshim, we will potentially still be continuing to offer parties and family projects in a new location. We will keep you posted with news about this.
We want to thank all of you for your support and love. We received so much of it over the year and it encouraged us to dig deeper and work harder in making the Hand Made experience the best that it could be. Thank you for believing in us.
Don't stop creating!
