Last week, I received almost 200 pages from children at my old school, Herzlia Weizmann in Cape Town.
Each child colored 100 rectangles and wrote their name alongside the name of a Jewish child who perished in the Holocaust.
I've been working on The Six Million Project for years, but something about these pages affected me differently. Seeing the names of children today alongside the names of children who never grew up made the project feel more real than ever before.
Thank you to the pupils and staff of Herzlia Weizmann for becoming part of this act of remembrance. 🕯️💙

We will sit together in real time while six speakers share short Holocaust readings and personal reflections — including second-generation voices speaking about their parents’ stories.

As we listen, we will also be coloring the Six Million Project page. A quiet, shared act of remembrance — one small rectangle at a time.

This is not something to watch.
It is something to step into.

At the end, there will be a short space to reflect and share, if you wish.
