Baladi Banjo ensemble consists of four musicians who have played together for many years in various productions and events. The unique sound of the ensemble stems from the joining of east to west, the mix between the Banjo with the Darbuka,
and mediterrenean scales and rhythms meeting the uplifting brightness of american Bluegrass music. To all this is added the warm and energetic temperament of

the band members and the magical musical connection between friends who have been playing together for years. The ensemble plays instrumental music and songs inspired by various traditional styles of music. Members of the ensemble:

Hagai Raz - six-string banjo, guitar, chromatic harmonica. Raz Krugman - banjo bass.

"Ibradi"
Ibaradi is a small and beautiful village in northeastern Turkey.
I wrote this tune after staying in the village area for almost two magical weeks where I played with Turkish and Iranian musicians.
