Designed to move with the body.

A large flowing piece running along the side of the back, created around the natural lines and curves of the body rather than treating the skin as a flat canvas.

With work at this scale, placement becomes part of the artwork. The direction, negative space and movement all have to work together so the tattoo feels like it belongs exactly where it is.

I love creating pieces where the body and the artwork become one composition.

Koi in motion 🌊

A colour piece built around the natural movement of a koi swimming through water, with the waves wrapping around the arm to create one continuous composition.

With a piece like this, the flow is just as important as the details. The fish, water and shape of the body all work together so the tattoo changes as the arm moves.

Colour, movement and a little controlled chaos.

Every sleeve has to start somewhere 🐉

The beginning of a full-arm project, starting with the dragon and building the composition from there.

With larger pieces like this, I like to think about the whole arm as one canvas from the beginning, even though the tattoo develops over several sessions.

This is just the first chapter. Plenty more to come as it grows into the finished sleeve.

Colour without black 🎨

A full-arm tattoo built around nature, movement and colour.

Water, flowers and fish flow together across the arm, with no black used anywhere in the piece. The idea was to create contrast and depth entirely through colour while keeping everything soft, organic and connected.

I really enjoy projects where the whole arm becomes one continuous composition rather than a collection of separate tattoos.

A little glimpse inside Rapha Ink 🖤

Tattooing, drawing, talking, creating and the usual studio chaos.

For me, the studio has always been about more than the finished tattoo. It’s the conversations, the ideas that develop while we’re sitting together, the artwork on the walls and all the people who pass through the door.

And things are about to get a little busier around here…

More on that soon.

One from the Rapha Ink archive 🖤

An original Mexican neo-traditional design, drawn here at the studio and eventually taken from sketchbook to skin.

Still one of my favourite parts of tattooing: watching an idea go from a drawing on paper to something that gets carried out into the world.

I'm digging through the archives over the next couple of weeks, so I'll be sharing more original work, old favourites and a few things you may have missed.

More soon.

Original Rapha Ink Design. Today I tattooed a Mexican neo-traditional inspired design that I illustrated a while ago.

It’s always a great feeling when someone chooses a piece directly from my drawings and brings it to life as a tattoo.

From illustration to skin — that’s the journey of tattoo art.

Awesome style, Mexican Traditional. Night tattoo, a lot of fun.

Spent the day bringing new art pieces into HaMosad Gallery from DOV ART.

Amazing sculptures made from reclaimed metal — including steampunk spiders and a huge elephant built from the metal frame of a bed.

One of the great things about HaMosad is that the art is always evolving. New pieces arrive, artists bring fresh ideas, and the space keeps growing creatively.

If you’re in Pardes Hanna, it’s worth coming by to experience it.

Sisters Starting a Family Tattoo. Today I had two sisters in the studio starting a family tattoo.

I always love tattoos that carry meaning and connection like this. The sisters led the way, and it was such a fun session with great energy all around.

Moments like this are what make tattooing so special.
