Manot Cave Project Exploriing Modern Human Evolution through the reconstruction of life and environment during the Upper Paleolithic period in the Middle East

Manot Cave is an active karstic cave with remains of human occupation during the Middle and Upper Paleolithic periods. These remains document the dispersion of modern humans from Africa to Eurasia. We uncover the physical and cultural affinities of the ancient dwellers in the cave, through a multi-disciplinary research project involving an international and diverse group of scholars.

We wanted to say a BIG Thank You for all the people drom all over the world who took part in the excavation.
It's always a pleasure to meet new faces and reconnect with old friends.

Hello all!
So 2017 season ended a few months ago and it's about time we say thanks to all the volunteers from all around the world who came to participate in the excavation.
Thank you to the people from USA, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, and of course, Israel!!
