In a small workshop in downtown Jerusalem, I start to work, slowly and carefully with iron rods. With lots of devotion they become alive, as I mold them into figures, animals, and vehicles. Slowly, a creation that existed in my mind begins to take shape. Iron’s dominance with refined punches, welds, hammering and denting slowly turning Iron into gold. Each figure has its own story and speaks to each person differently. I try to incorporate in my work elegance, nobility and power. In most cases I build scenes that are subject to interpretation of the viewer so that anyone who sees the sculpture can put his own interpretation. The inspiration of my creations are Bible stories, Israeli women, the Israeli army, the kibbutz, the Arab villages, synagogues, spaces, the desire for a rainy winter, health and happiness, peace and quiet , Desert, Galilee and the Sea , which drives me to create art based on every feeling in my body.
