מוזאון כפר סבא נוסד בשנת 1980 (תש"מ) ביוזמתו של ראש העיר זאב גלר והארכיאולוג, תושב כפר סבא, ד"ר איתן איילון כמוזאון ארכיאולוגי לתולדות העיר כפר סבא. בבסיס היוזמה עמד הרצון לספר את סיפורה של כפר סבא מאז נוסדה ככפר חקלאי בתקופה הרומית , דרך הקמתה מחדש כמושבה לפני כ-120 שנה ועד ימינו. המוזאון פרוס על פני מספר אתרים ארכיאולוגיים והיסטוריים ברחבי העיר ומציע מגוון רחב של פעילויות ואירועי תרבות למבוגרים,
משפחות וילדים.
המוזאון הינו מוזאון מוכר וחברה לתועלת הציבור, חבר באיגוד המוזיאונים ועובד בשיתוף פעולה מלא עם הרשויות הלאומיות וכן משרדי הממשלה והשלטון המקומי.

The Museum invites you to explore ancient periods in Kfar Saba and its surroundings, and experiment with a myriad of arts and crafts from the past. The Museum has an active role in assisting to preserve remnants of the old Moshava (village) of Kfar Saba, and conservation of historical monuments in town. We offer guided tours, including "Stories of Saba and Savta from Kfar Saba", various activities, and workshops. The currents exhibitions take visitors on a journey through Kfar Saba from prehistoric times until the historic rejuvenation of Kfar Saba. Visitors will
enjoy a fascinating presentation of archaeological findings, photographs and illustrations as well as an audiovisual presentation in a reconstruction of an ancient courtyard. The outdoor Mosaic Yard displays various segments of mosaic floors (originals and replicas) which were excavated from multiple areas in the vicinity of Kfar Saba. One of the more impressive mosaic floors presented here was found in an ancient synagogue from the Talmudic period, and mentions the settlement Kfar Saba. The museum also conducts an excavation and reconstruction project in the old Tel of Kfar Saba (The Hadarim neighborhood), where visitors are invited to join us in recapturing the arts of producing olive oil and grape-juice.
