Restore damaged silver, gold and enamelled objects. I arrange silver-plating for your objects if there is initial restoration work to do.My workshop/studio is in Johannesburg South Africa. Courier objects to me or bring with you for me to restore if you are visiting South Africa. I will quote you as best as possible based on previous similar work done. Restored. German silver trinket box(Neresheimer, after 1903) for Lucien Krief, Jerusalem.

The head of one of the characters was missing.

To preserve the beautiful aged tarnish I could not solder to the box directly as the heat and acidulation renders silver white.Instead, I made an insert head which I oxidised and hammer riveted from the back/inside the box and camouflaged with the character's buttons.
