WEST: World of English Speaking Theatres is going to be one year old. It's a special initiative from two wonderful theater artists in Ukraine that brought together many theater companies and personalities from all over the world to support each other.

They started a cool interview process called HAT interviews in which a company (or person) is chosen from a hat and then it moves forward with each interviewee becoming the interviewer. CBDB Productions was honored and blessed to be the first interviewee.

After sold out performances the first week and great reviews and sold out performances coming up this week we have decided to open another show at 5pm on Tuesday the 21st. Tickets will go fast so make sure you get yours before we sell out again.

We are so excited for "My Name is Asher Lev" to premiere this Tuesday evening. Our actors and crew have been working hard to prepare for the show. ABOUT THE PLAY:
The Candlesticks is a story about finding families and reconnecting with Jewish roots after the Holocaust.
While Europe is engulfed in the Second World War, a Jewish baby girl is found in Mexico City, on the doorstep of a young married couple. The girl comes with nothing but a perplexing note and a set of candlesticks. They decide to raise the child in their Christian home; the candlesticks are put away and forgotten. Until one day a stranger, Samuel Katz, shows up looking for answers. As a terrible earthquake strikes Mexico City, they will all be faced with difficult questions and answers.
