Graziella is the well born niece of the Cardinal whose scheming affects many lives. Maya Golan who plays her says this: “ This is someone who knows what she wants but she doesn’t know how to love wholeheartedly. She’s s passionate person who makes questionable decisions and I like the complexity. She is a product of her upbringing and her badness is interesting. Despite that one of the hardest things for me to deal with within the role is the deep antisemitism that she has.“
