Art.NoLimits is a project that was born after a conversation between two partners and friends about their passion for art. Their common interest about Modigliani and Klimt and their awareness of a missing artistic scene in Haifa brought them to have the idea to create together a space, a moment and a time to share, to exchange and to bring art to the Haifa stage. Art.NoLimits wants to have its sit
e in Haifa to help to develop its artistic and cultural platform. The main goal of Art.NoLimits is to bring people together through art, and to give the right value to Haifa, a city that we truly believe can be a stage for artists and artistic ideas, and not less important, to share this artistic stage with all its citizens. It is a project that does not see artistic limits, that wants to include all kind of art and people to share their experiences without distance barriers, age, sex, gender, nationality and ethnicity. Our slogan is, “Do not imitate, Just Be”. Art.NoLimits wants to become a multifunctional art space in the center of Haifa. and to be a place in the city where contemporary art is being exhibited. It is not only an exhibition area, but also a cultural place. The mains aspects that in our vision we want to enbrance are:
Guiding groups through the process of supporting their vision for arts. Identifying new platforms of art. Providing practical advice on how to move a project forward with Art.NoLimit as the developer. We wish to share knowledge as conveners at creative community development gatherings. Although Italy is a country with a high ferment of art, not much value has been given lately to the young Israeli artists and we do believe that an exchange of art between Israel, Italy and in a longer- term plan, with Europe and other countries could give a fruitful result to be shared with the city and its people. Art.NoLimits wants to give attention and underline all kind of arts, paintings, music, photography, installation, theatre, intellectuals, all that kind of art that can give a bigger visually of what art is and to satisfy all the tastes of people. Haifa has an incredible potential. Its natural beauty, with the sea and its location makes it an attraction for artists ad people in general to want to discover this city that not often has been given enough credits. The area of downtown is visible expanding and its space is a perfect location to be used for this exchange of art for the people and with the people. The goals of Art.NoLimits, are:
To promote the exchange of art in all its forms, culture and intellectuality between Israel and International contexts (specifically Italy) through the promotion of exhibitions, workshops and different kind of meetings with artists and intellectuals
To offer artistic workshops for the schools, kids in their free time. Futhermore all the artists will be invited to present their work and to organize workshops and lectures for experts or people interested in art. Different kind of workshops (art, music, lectures and debates) will take place in Art.No.limits space. Through the workshops we intend to stimulate creative impulses and to have new ideas and inspirations for future work. To promote and to research for new forms of art that are still unknown to the mainstream
To give opportunity and visibility for new young artists to express their arts in Israel and outside and as well to invite young artists from abroad to do the same in Haifa
To promote the exchange of Israeli artisans with international artisans. to promote the exchange of students (art schools, art academies) from Israel and to Israel
to promote and organize artistic trips of groups of people, from Israel and to Israel
