На этот раз наш гость — одна из самых вдохновляющих кураторов, Valeria Geselev Yalla Shoola // Doing Things with Art !🌍✨

Валерия расскажет о своём пятимесячном туре между Кейптауном и Лимпопо, где она не только выставляла, но и продавала произведения искусства, созданные в Хайфе. Мы поговорим о том, как искусство преодолевает границы и культурные барьеры, и обсудим влияние израильских художников на мировую арт-сцену. 🌿🎨

אנו שמחים לברך את במאית האנימציה הישראלית הדגולה Natalia Ryss עם זכייתה בפסטיבל אנימציה הבינלאומי באלמטי Almaty שבקזחסטן. סרטה Simple Forms זכה במקום הראשון בקטגוריה הקשה והמשובחת ביותר: Best experimental animation. תודה לנטליה על השתתפותה ב- ARTNOW, תערוכת האמנות האחרונה שלנו עם עבודות וידאו-ארט נועזות וגם עם סדרה של קולאז'ים מדהימים. נטליה חיפאית למזלנו, ובשנה האחרונה עשינו איתה שתי הקרנות של סרטי אנימציה ניסויית שזכו בפסטיבלים בינלאומיים. אל עף העדר כל תמיכה ממסדית יוצרות אנימציה מוכשרות שעלו ארצה בשנים האחרונות ממשיכות ליצור ומעשירות את הוואי התרבותי הישראלי באנימציה מקורית מהטובות בעולם.

Victory, Roman Fishman

The painted plate "Victory", which unflatteringly depicts the goddess of victory Nike with a crutch and a disfigured head, accidentally fell and broke. The surviving parts of the plate were collected and glued. The seams were covered with gold, as in kintsugi. Kintsugi is a Japanese tradition of restoring dishes, where the gluing of broken edges is not masked, but on the contrary, highlighted with gold. The already mercilessly harsh image of Victory has additionally acquired new features.
