Had such a lovely time meeting this wonderful human which I only found online around around a year ago Kate Rebecca Leach from Kate Rebecca Leach !

Kate’s journey started from textile design which led her to marketing and then with a gap of 20 years of no creativity at all in the midst of Covid she picked up a makeup brush and an old watecolor palette and started her watercolor journey…

And today she’s got more than 200k followers on Instagram.

Overall she’s just lovely!
I loved how many colorful women (and men) were drawn to her workshop
And how she brought the fun and pazzaz into an art medium that is so relaxing and easygoing.

It was wonderful to come full circle because when I was supposed to come for Pesach I booked to go to one of her workshops and then war happened and it got cancelled, and just by chance this time around I found out she was having another workshop and exactly at a time and place that I could make it work… 2 hours commute
But still totally worth every drop ✨

I’m so excited to come back and instill some of these techniques in my upcoming chugs.
All restarting in October.

Thanks to my husband who took over so I could make this happen.

And it’s a wrap!!

One whole year of growing together, through our art, through wars… through shared moments together.

Today I did something I never did before! A graduation party for my Monday afternoon watercolor chug.

When I first started teaching in Covid I didn’t realize just how far along I’d come!

My father gavriel glenn always pushed me to one day give out certificates.

And this year I did!

I guess a part of me always believed that wrapping it up with such a special event can make it that much more beautiful.

Today the girls were the “teachers” and introduced their moms to the techniques of watercolor they learned throughout the year.

And in the end we concluded with a few words of praise, feedback and photos on camera.
And with a heart a little more full!
