Being a soldier's wife means staying strong, even when you're holding back tears. It means maintaining routines in irregular times, and explaining to the kids that Abba is in the army not knowing exactly when he will next be let out.
Proudly titled as the wife of an Israeli soldier, I'm also a singer-songwriter. In these crazy times, I have created a performance to uplift evacuees, families, and fellow soldier's wives and mothers who’s lives have been flipped upside down.
Women have shared the show's benefits—providing a moment for themselves and fostering connections.
"Yesterday, you came to sing for us, the evacuees of Sderot in Isrotel City Tower hotel, we were women of all ages... you brought something really special, and we felt your love for music and Am Yisrael. You had great energy! Thank you for an evening full of connection and hope. Hashem should bless you and give you strength to make people happy through song".
With four hotels reaching out in just the past week, it's becoming challenging to continue these shows for free. Balancing the role of a 'single mom' while continuing to work and perform adds an extra layer of complexity. Initially, I offered the shows at no cost, but now I need your help. To sustain uplifting moments for Israel's women of valor, evacuees, and heroes, any support is appreciated. Your contribution will make a significant difference.
