🎓 Call for Abstracts – FUNGA fest 2025 🍄

We’re excited to invite the global mycology community to FUNGA fest 2025, Israel’s first national festival celebrating fungi in all their diversity. The event will occur from 7 to 11 December 2025 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer-Sheva.

Over five days, you’ll explore fungi from every angle: biodiversity and ecology, medical mycology, fermentation and culinary arts, taxonomy and evolution, mushroom farming, folklore, and more. Expect expert talks, hands‑on workshops, farm tours, field forays, tastings and creative sessions.

📢 Call for abstracts: We welcome oral and poster presentations from researchers, students, and professionals across all disciplines of mycology and fungal culture. The submission deadline is 31 October 2025.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the official abstract book.
