AnjunaFamily Israel is a community where fans of all things Anjuna (Anjunabeats as well as its Anjunadeep sublabel) can come together and share music, photos and stories with one another. As a group we strive to embody the powerful sense of community that you’ve surely felt if you’ve ever attended an Anjunabeats gathering. Music unites us all, so we welcome newcomers with open arms as well. Don't be afraid to say hello. Although music is the only language we all understand, each of our individual tastes certainly vary. However, as a community we appreciate Anjuna releases old and new, celebrating the full range of electronic music styles represented by the Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep catalogues. It’s easy to understand the Anjuna Family message. Because of the love and positivity that each of the members has brought to the group, it’s grown organically into one of the friendliest dance music forums on the internet
ABOUT ANJUNABEATS: Anjuna is the name of a beach on the southwest coast of Goa, India. The locale became a hippy destination in the ‘60s and ‘70s, and later emerged as a hotspot for early Goa trance. Jonathan "Jono" Grant and Pavo Siljamäki founded the Anjunabeats label in 2000 - the same year they joined forces with Tony McGuinness to form trance supergroup Above & Beyond. In 2005 they launched the Anjunadeep sublabel to shine the spotlight on the deeper end of the electronic music spectrum. Today, Above & Beyond performs around the world in addition to delivering mixes as part of their weekly podcast, Group Therapy. Originally titled Trance Around The World, each installment of the show begins with a segment devoted to fan mail from members of the Anjuna Family. It is through these genuine, meaningful connections that the group has fostered such an uplifting atmosphere among its worldwide fan base. Jono, Pavo and Tony have harnessed their platform as a means of spreading love, positivity and connectedness throughout the world. We believe that their massive worldwide success stands as testament that dreams come true when you follow your heart. We try to follow their example as much as possible in our daily operations as a group.
