The heatwave made me alter my plans for today, so I ended up at Youghal Beach. It's great to have a dip in the sea in such a heat - or to have access to the sea at all, which is another thing I love about Ireland. I also made this quick 15-minute sketch.

My recent trip to the United States has proved to be both a valuable real-life experience and a wonderful, inspiration-sparking adventure. While I had a lot of sightseeing to do, I was also trying to sketch as much as I could. Here is a short video of some of the places I have visited. So grateful for this adventure and all the new insights and perspectives I gained along the way.
