Hi folks, Liam here (the weird lad with the head on him, if you remember). I've been putting some thought into starting a drama group, but haven't the foggiest idea as to how I'd get it going. Nothing serious or competitive at first, but it'd be nice to put together a show and have some fun on the stage like old times. I'd also love to reconnect with you all, should you decide to give it a go. PM me if you're interested and we'll see what happens from there!

Hi all hope you’re all keeping well. Hi to all our friends and supporters .I’m posting this notice tonight to let you all know that… MODELBOX PRODUCTIONS have decided to bring the curtain down on the drama group.We all had some amazing times over the past few years and made some great memories that we can treasure forever.On behalf of everyone involved in Modelbox we would like to thank each and everyone of you who supported us over the years.Without your loyal support we would not have been able to put on so many productions.We really appreciated your support. We would also like to thank Ben and all the staff at The Castle Inn for all the support they gave us over the years allowing us to rehearse and then preform our plays in the hall.To all the actors and actresses who were part of Modelbox’s journey thank you all for putting on such great performances.And to everyone else who helped out whether it was on lights /sound helping out backstage or front of house.You all done amazing jobs and again your help was really appreciated.Finally all the cast and crew want to thank Kevin for picking us some amazing plays for us to perform ..But the one we all loved doing the most was Kevin’s take on…A CHRISTMAS CAROL which is very special to all of us as it was the last play we done. And we all agreed that after that production was the right time to finally bring the CURTAIN DOWN ON MODELBOX PRODUCTIONS. So all that’s left for me to say is thank you again for all your support and friendships. Hopefully we will all meet again sometime in the future until then take care and Goodbye..

"The ADCI are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Amateur Drama Festival Circuit from 18:00 today Thursday 12th march. This decision is taken based on safety and on guidelines from the Government and the Health Service recently issued. We are sorry that the Covid-19 Virus has brought us to this situation but in the National interest and to play our part we are taking this action. Extras needed for this production..

A movie starring Hollywood superstars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon is to shoot in Wicklow’s Ardmore Studios from late March, WicklowNow.ie can exclusively reveal. The film, which is titled The Last Duel, will shoot here for between six and eight weeks and will employ a crew of several hundred people...
