Sew Fun Studios Wexford teaches the principles of fashion design and the art of sewing to kids and adults alike through creative camps, birthday parties, in-school workshops, after-school classes & courses. Our goal at Sew Fun Studios is to celebrate sewing as a cool, relevant and creative activity for young people and adults alike. We want people of all ages and ability levels to discover the joy

of sewing as a lifelong skill and ongoing creative expression. Our state of the art Fashion Design and Sewing Studio is located in Pierce Court on Paul Quay in Wexford town. We are now taking bookings for our afterschool classes, Halloween Camps, birthday party & Adult beginner level course. Adult classes and Sip n Sew events will commence in September, call now to express your interest.

Our Story

Sew Fun Studios Wexford was born in 2016 opening our doors just in time for Independence day! My name is Joanne Denton. I am a wife, mum of three, sister, daughter and owner operational manager of Sew Fun Studios. I love every minute of what I do. A wise person once told me ‘If you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life’ - it is the truest saying of all time!

Our classes are aimed at bringing joy to kids and adults lives in a creative manner allowing students to express their own individuality through their projects in a relaxed and social environment. We teach all things sewing and design through our creative camps, birthday parties, in-school workshops, after-school classes & many adult courses on offer.

The kids that attend our classes are encouraged to reach for the stars, be themselves and create their own dreams never giving up on what they love. This is the reason I continued with my journey and dream of working with kids. Whatever your kids talents are, encourage them, be positive and teach them to keep trying and never give up. I believe this alone is a life skill that will stand to all our students in the future.
