A new Christmas carol composed by the Wexford musician and composer Cyril Murphy will be premiered at a Christmas Gala Concert in St Iberius Church featuring two of Ireland’s biggest operatic names – the Wexford-born soprano Sinéad Campbell-Wallace and the celebrated tenor Gavan Ring.

REMINDER to everyone that the auditions for the Summer Season 2017 on the Oscar Wilde Irish Ferries Ship take place next Monday 6th of March at the Phoenix Performing Arts Academy and Studio.
Here are the finalised times for the auditions.

FEMALE DANCERS AUDITIONS
Time: 11.00 a.m.
Please take a heel to dance in and wear all black
Please also bring your CV with you.

SINGING AUDITIONS - MALE AND FEMALE
Time: 1.30 p.m.
Please prepare one Rock/Pop song and one Musical Theatre/Jazz number.
Please bring sheet music accompaniment or your own backing tracks - there will be an accompanist present.
Please also bring your CV with you.

Almost ready to board the Oscar Wilde Irish Ferries ship for what’s shaping up to be a great summer season of entertainment 2016!! Saw final rehearsals yesterday – Ciaran Connolly is doing an amazing job – great dancers, great look, great music!
With our brilliant line up of lead singers Danielle Williamson, Orla Jennings, Donal Brennan, Daryl Phillips and Kevin Fagan, and a really classy dance troupe of Ruth Devine, Sarah Harris, Lea Carroll, Lizzy Benham, Elaine O’Donoghue and Aoife Masterson, we’re set to rock the high seas this summer!
Show opens next Thursday 26th on the Oscar Wilde. Book your mini cruise now … stock up your cellar and be entertained in the process on the luxurious Oscar Wilde!

Ciaran Connolly
Choreographer
Originally from Dublin Ciaràn has been living in London for the past 13 years working successfully as professional dancer. He has worked extensively in the entertainment industry as a dancer with musical talents such as Take That, Cheryl Cole, The Saturdays, Robbie Williams, Girls Aloud, Michael Buble and many more. He has also regularly danced on major entertainment T.V shows such as, X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice, The Royal Variety Show, Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing On Ice. Throughout these years dancing in front of the camera he has also assisted choreographers behind the scenes gaining experience & knowledge at studios ITV, BBC, RTE and Channel 4.
At present he is currently choreographing Series 5 of RTE One's 'The Voice of Ireland'. Other recent choreography credits include Escala, Women of Ireland, The June Rodgers Show, Sleeping Beauty for Paul Holman Associates, Mr & Mrs for ITV and working alongside Darcey Bussell’s new fitness programme DDMIX.

We’re delighted to announce that Ciaran Connolly is the new creative director and choreographer for this year’s Wilde Night Cabaret Show on board the Irish Ferries Oscar Wilde. Ciaran was selected after Claire Tighe decided to step back after 8 incredibly successful years at the helm. Ciaran comes with a wealth of experience in both TV and stage shows and we are very excited to see what he’s going to produce fort he coming season.

The first step in creating our new show for 2016 will be the Dublin auditions which take place on the 21st and 22nd of March in Dublin– see notice below.

Dial M for Music welcomes Aoife Masterson on board the Wilde Nights Cabaret Show on the Oscar Wilde Ship. The show opened on the 28th of May and will run until the 6th of September. Aoife joins Orla Jennings and Danielle Masterson as one of the lead vocalists in the cabaret. A great start to the season - fantastic reviews and standing ovations!
