It has been a privilege to tutor the Irish language at Gaeltacht UCD over the past two trimesters. I am grateful for this opportunity to promote and foster the language within this wonderful community. 💚

Bhí an-lá go deo againn i mBaile Loch Garman ar an Luan. “A Celebration of Wexford Piping” brought 14 Pipers together on Ardán na Sláine. Playing the final tunes, “The Boys of Wexford” & “Kelly the Boy from Killanne” together was something else!! And, it was an honour to play as part of the Wexford Ladies Pipers Trio with Catherine Roche and Eva Wiltshire. 🎵

A truly memorable day.

“Caoineadh Sheáin Uí Cheallaigh | A Lament for John Kelly, the Boy from Killanne”

This piece of music begins with an original poem I wrote and flows into a lament on the uilleann pipes I composed, honoring John Kelly, the Boy from Killanne, a leader in the 1798 Rebellion in Wexford. This track is the opening composition on my debut solo album, “OUTLAW”, recorded
in the heart of the Burren, Co. Clare at The Dreams Loft Studio and released on 7th November. The album features uilleann pipes, tin whistle, vocals accompanied by guitar, original poetry, and sean nós dance rhythms.
