Sorry guys looks like I have to close the club for the rest of the week. I’m pretty sick and told I have to stay in bed and rest to have any chance of being allowed to play in Rome

Hi everyone,

I had a very scary incident in the club last night that has left me pretty shaken so effective from tonight until the first member arrives the door will be locked and you will need to call me or the club number 0402 31686 (it’s on the front sign too) to gain entry.

I am also looking at some other security changes - if any member knows of someone who can install an intercom can you please let me know or pm me.

Hi everyone

As we are in the dreaded summer months (and good weather started earlier than normal) to keep operating costs down as per last year, if there’s no bookings on a given evening the club will remain closed on that night - so again advanced booking MUST be made by 2pm to avoid a wasted journey.

The last couple of weeks have been a disaster and i need to cut costs to continue. Like I’ve said previously I would please ask members to continue to support the club during the summer months - there’s no point thinking in November “I’d love a game of Snooker” if I can’t keep it going and the club isn’t there…. Everyone knows I don’t have the club to “make a fortune” so it’s really important members support the club all year.

I will post here on a day that the club will be closed although based on last year it hopefully won’t happen too often.

I am going to Sweden tomorrow for the European Masters. The club will be open Wednesday and Friday (closed Thursday). As I am away the card reader won’t work so cash only.
