In 2018 Dean was wrapped in 40 feet of chain, hand and ankle restraints, secured with 7 padlocks and finally 50kg of additional weight, Dean was plunged over 2 meters into the deep end of a pool and had to hold his breath for an astonishing 4 Minutes and 19 Seconds in order to escape, breaking Irish History for being the first Irish performer to EVER undergo a feat like this. After the Escape, Dean took some time to reevaluate his life, career and to let his body heal from such an enduring stunt. While taking time out from performing publicly Dean never stopped working. He wrote a brand new stage show called “Believe” in which he takes aim at the fake “psychic” world and tries to educate people on how he believes fraudulent mediums, psychics and clairvoyants can use the same techniques that he and other mentalists use to achieve things like contacting the dead, predicting the future, reading minds and even controlling peoples actions.
