In this session you will explore the best way to approach public galleries for exhibitions, including open calls, building your profile and securing studio visits. You will also look at strategies for commercial galleries as well.

Eamonn Maxwell is a leading Curator and Advisor having studied fine art at Camberwell College of Arts. He has spent more than 20 years working with visual arts and organisations, including the Arts Council of Ireland, Goldsmiths College of Art, and Lismore Castle Arts.

SPROG Children's Arts & Creativity Festival is back at Garter Lane right in the heart of the Cultural Quarter with an enormous amount of fun programmed for the full day out tomorrow, Saturday, 13 June, from 10am - 5pm.

The incredible Fanzini Brothers, masters of Irish street and circus performance, will beguile and thrill you with their amazing, interactive comedy circus, 'Risky Business', a brand new 45 min family show in the Theatre at 12 noon and 2pm. Tickets are keenly priced at a subsidised rate of just €5pp. (under 2s go free)

Beyond that absolutely everything else is completely free and includes workshops, drop-in arts activites, storytelling plus a pop-up mini library.

See garterlane.ie for further details or pop along this Saturday. All activities are aimed at under 12s.

In addition to the SPROG Saturday packed day the team at Garter Lane have been busy bringing catering to in excess of 700 primary school aged children for the past 3 days.

Sprog Saturday is very excited to present, Fanzini Brothers!

Fanzini Brothers are bringing their brand new show "Risky Buisness" to the Garter Lane Theatre for Sprog 2026. For just €5 per ticket, you will be treated to 45 mins of amazing stunts, possibly some cabbages and alot of entertainment.

A show packed with some of the best physical comedy any money can buy, escalating nonsense, and audience-fuelled mayhem, Risky Business is a hilarious tug-of-war between reckless showmanship and relentless regulation.

Bringing together rhythm, language and immersive sound in one of the most quietly distinctive collaborations in contemporary Irish music.

A founding member of Kíla, Ó Snodaigh’s voice moves between chant, song and incantation, shaped by the Irish language and decades of boundary-blurring performance. Composer and filmmaker O’Reilly builds spacious, atmospheric environments where words are given room to breathe and unfold.

It is almost show time!

We would like to wish the very best of luck to every person involved in tonights show of Confined Spaces : A Rehearsed Reading. A must see event for this years Pride of the Déise Festival!

This new dark comedy play by Michael Lavery delves into the complexities of Toxic relationships and the road to self-acceptance within the gay community in modern day Ireland.
