This week we have two more amazing events happening for Imagine Arts Festival that we here at Loose Screw are really looking forward to.
This Wednesday & Thursday sees 'Submerged' written by one of our pals Natasha Everitt along with her amazing team of performers.
Like everything Natasha does, this is not to be missed!

Then this Friday & Saturday 'Savage Love' by Sam Sheppard directed by another friend of ours Lenny Hayden. A fantastic cast have been working hard on this with our very own Becky Phelan involved too. This will round up the end of the festival very nicely :)

We are very excited to see this fantastic piece of theatre this weekend written by a good friend to us here at Loose Screw, the wonderful Conor Clancy.
We urge you to get your tickets soon as we know this show is going to sell out and you dont want to be the only one who didnt see it now do you?
Imagine Arts Festival this year is one of the best we have ever seen. There is loads to see and to suit all interests. Well done to all involved!

Our very own lil Vic along with our pal Stephen Walsh are putting the final touches on this evenings showing of 'Empty Space', the temporary culmination of their work during their residency at A Little Room.
6pm today at 5 O' Connell Street.

Vic is gone into A Little Room this month with Stephen Walsh to explore their piece 'Empty Space' .
It will be shown for free on November 1st in Garter Lane 1. All are welcome to come along.

A Little Room are excited to announce our artists-in-residence for October are Stephen Walsh and Vic Dunphy, two local artists who have come together to collaborate on a new piece entitled Empty Space. They will host a public showing of their development findings at 6pm on Tuesday November 1st at A Little Room, 5 O'Connell Street, Waterford.

"Empty Space is the brainchild of Stephen Walsh and Vic Dunphy.
It seeks to explore the actions and re-actions that occur in isolation.
This expressive piece is a stripped back form of non-theatre that lends it resemblance to the viewer."

Another showing from A Little Room is on the way! Local writer, theatre maker and all around good guy Ben Quinlan is the current artist in residence and will be presenting his work on Tuesday, October 4th.
Save the date! :)

A Little Room is delighted to announce that our artist in residence for the Month of September is Ben Quinlan, a Waterford native, Ben is an actor, director and a writer.
Ben moved in to the space today and has begun developing a brand new play entitled 'Heart of the Wood'. The finished play will have a cast of 30 young actors between the age of 9-15 years. On Tuesday the 4th of October at 6pm you can come and see a free public showing of this work-in-development. We look forward to seeing what Ben creates over the month. More updates to follow.
