Cast Member # 6
Natasha Everitt is currently in her final year studying Theatre at WIT. She exploded onto the Waterford Arts scene in 2013; from being cast in Loose Screw Theatre Company’s production of ‘Boxer’ written by James Rocket, too more recently appearing and touring with the Theatre Royal in their annual Shakespeare Review. After being on stage, Natasha worked behind the scenes on Jim Nolan’s ‘Black Water Angel’ in which she experienced working as the assistant stage manager. From here on in Natasha has taken theatre into her own hands, creating ‘Animadversion’ a night of performance art, co-creating ‘Storybooks and Stockings Burlesque’, and she continues to make interesting performance pieces within the region. “Working on Threads” Natasha says “has been an insightful and emotional journey, one that the cast and crew are eager to show to a live audience.”

Cast Member #5

Becky Phelan has been a longstanding member of Waterford's theatre community with a background in acting, stage management and directing. In 2013, she was a stage manager for 'On The Razzle', directed by Jim Nolan. In 2014, she returned to work with Jim as stage manager for his play 'Blackwater Angel' which was successfully received in Garter Lane Arts Centre. During this year she also appeared in the Irish short film 'An Bean Sidhe' which was produced by New Aims Productions, and starred in the one woman comedy show 'A Lecture on Health'. In 2015, she directed a version of Enda Walsh's critically acclaimed 'Disco Pigs' with Loose Screw Theatre Company. She is currently their Artistic Director. Her more recent work shows a diversity in her interests. Becky has written a series of short works based around the history of the Magdalene Laundries and she has performed at both Waterford Writer's Weekend and Labyrinth Management's 'Symbiosis' events. She is a recent graduate of WIT's Theatre Studies programme and will be undertaking a Masters in Drama and Performance Studies at UCD in September.
