Happy New Year Everyone! 🎉✨️
Looking back on 2025...
The past 2 years have been a time of transition for Vibe Dance Club Waterford.
My family handed Liberty Gymnastics Club over to another big gymnastics and dance family, the Kamps, who have been solid fixtures in the club almost from the very beginning (all of our dancers who attended classes in the Liberty Hall will know Sefanya, Eva-Lianne, Jedidja, and/or Patricia, an amazingly talented & knowledgeable family!)
Of course there was no doubt that they could bring the level of passion and dedication needed to run Liberty 💜
I'm glad to see lots of our dancers still take gymnastics classes in Liberty, it's great to see the next generation of acro gymnasts are in good hands ✨️
With this change I decided to restructure my hours for more time at home with my son. We took a break from our usual busy competition and performance schedule, and focused for a while instead on enjoying our class time with no commitments and nothing in particular to work on. We learned new choreography almost every week, played lots of games, and learned some new gymnastics skills.
Over the past year we've started to get back into performing and competing again, this time at a slower pace so we can prioritise enjoying every class rather than constantly rushing to get routines finished ✨️
We started weekly classes in St John Of God Primary School, and have continued them throughout 2024 & 2025. We currently have 2 classes running, with a mix of long-term members from the Liberty Gym era, and new members, mostly pupils in St John Of God School 😊
Huge thanks to all of our dancers for bringing their energy & passion to class every week, and to our dance parents for their continued support & encouragement! ❤️
