A design drawing of the leader of The Brigands and his sidekick I did in 1990 during my time on “The Thief & The Cobbler” directed by Richard Williams.

I was trying to work out the look of the characters based on the concepts to see how best I could animate them…

I did this drawing of Eddie Van Halen in 1985 and brought it all the way to the ! office in London as a bright eyed art student and they took it and the used it without giving me credit or a single red cent.

Angry? Disappointed?

At the time, a little.

Nowadays it’s nice to remember I got a drawing (albeit one based on a famous photo) printed on a full page in the biggest and best Rock mag around back in April 1986!
