We’re deeply saddened by the impact of last weekend’s fire at the Jute Factory and the toll it has taken on the many small businesses based there. Our hearts especially go out to Nomac Productions and Waterford Centre of Music.

Please know that you’re in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time, and we’re here to support you in any way we can ❤️

🎭Meet the Cast of Moonshine🎭

Bill Stafford

Bill Stafford has been involved in theatre for many years, working both as an actor and director across a wide range of productions, from pantomimes and musicals to straight plays.
As a performer, he has thoroughly enjoyed diving into the role of Reverend Langton and bringing the character to life. He is delighted to be part of this Jim Nolan production and to be working alongside such a talented and passionate cast and crew.
He feels deeply humbled to portray Reverend Langton with care and reverence on the Garter Lane stage.

🎭 Meet the Cast of Moonshine🎭

Kieran Walsh

Based in Waterford, Kieran Walsh has been treading the boards for the last decade, steadily wearing a groove into the local stages. From The Crucible and Our Town to The Hall, Wife to James Whelan and Mount Prospect, he has recently taken the plunge into musicals — and discovered the pit is bottomless. He dabbles in writing and film, carries a mysterious history with Russian telenovelas, and admits he can’t talk about himself in the third person without resorting to sarcastic wordplay. Kieran loves working with Jim, though he tends to haunt him like a bad penny. He’s savouring every moment of digging up Griffin and is honoured to be giving this character new life on the boards of Garter Lane.

Benedetto Di Placido

Benedetto Di Placido is a Waterford-based theatre maker. He began his journey with Waterford Youth Arts and, after aging out, continued as a volunteer to help facilitate and support ongoing projects. His credits include the NT Connections play Sabas Swim, Under Milk Wood directed by Jim Nolan, and Stories Sketched In Glass, devised and directed by Veronica Coburn with heavy involvement from Benedetto and his fellow cast members.
He feels genuinely honoured and excited that all his diligent note-taking and careful observation has paid off as he brings Michael to life on the stage at Garter Lane.
