🎦Are you interested in making your own short films? Join Tallaght Young Filmmakers! 🎬

Based in Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre, Tallaght Young Filmmakers (TYF) supports young people (15-18) to have formative creative experiences in filmmaking, through hands on use of industry standard equipment, and a fun collaborative peer lead atmosphere, expertly facilitated by the lead artist.

🎥Members are supported to collaboratively devise and produce their own work, getting the opportunity to write scripts, act, direct, film, and sound record, as well as the opportunity to compete and travel to national youth art film festivals around the country.

This valuable opportunity gives them the chance to experience their work on the big screen alongside that of their national and international peers.

🎥TYF is a youth arts film group lead by visual artist John Conway, based on the model of engagement he developed as the Creative Director of the multi-award-winning Kildare Young Filmmakers, which is regarded as a model of best practice in youth arts.

✨No experience necessary.

✨You just need to be living in the South Dublin County Council Area and aged from 15-18!

🎬Workshops take place on Thursday evenings between 18:30 – 20:30 in Rua Red Arts Centre, .

📬Email Meabh Butler on [email protected] for an application form.
