BUILD DIARY #2 🎃

Avery Hill is changing fast. Rooms are disappearing, walls are going up and every day this incredible old building feels a little more like us. We’re halfway through the long days, there's lots of problem solving and a fairly ridiculous amount still to do, but The Realm is starting to appear.

We’re newcomers here, and one thing we’ve really noticed is just how nice people have been to us. We’ve been made to feel genuinely welcome in London, which means a lot when you’ve packed up 17 years of our lives and brought our strange world somewhere completely new.

Because while we might be new.. The Nightmare Realm certainly isn’t new. It’s 17 years of starting with nothing, grafting, learning, building and pushing ourselves to become the best at what we do... year after year.

And then there’s home. Seeing how many Irish people are booking flights, making a weekend of it and coming over to London to support us is pretty epic 🇮🇪🖤

You can take The Realm out of Ireland… but you’ll never take Ireland out of The Realm.

THINGS ARE GETTING STRANGE AT AVERY HILL.

While the doors are still closed, our world is taking over...

Coffins are finding their places.
Characters are coming to life.
The cast are learning the rules of our world.
And somewhere in between, we found ourselves creeping around the Cutty Sark at 5am for a secret photoshoot.

The build hasn't stopped.

And every day, this incredible old building looks a little less like Avery Hill...
and a little more like The Nightmare Realm.

We have SO much to show you...

OUR WEIRD LITTLE WORLD IS GETTING BIGGER.

For seventeen years, we’ve taken empty spaces and turned them into places that shouldn’t exist... But this one feels different.

For the first time, HalloweenTown has crossed the Irish Sea with us, and beneath the oval archways of Avery Hill, its crooked little world is beginning to appear.

Old favourites have found new homes. Hidden secret experiences are taking shape behind doors you might never notice. And slowly, this incredible old mansion is merging with The Nightmare Realm.

There’s something quite surreal about standing back and looking at it.

Seventeen years of ideas, characters, stories, strange things we’ve collected and things we probably should have thrown away years ago… now sitting in the grounds of a Victorian mansion in London.

We said we weren’t coming quietly... This is what we meant.

HalloweenTown is only one part of what’s waiting inside Avery Hill.
