We, the Tyrrellspass St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, were absolutely delighted to welcome a tremendous number of new volunteers to this year’s organising committee. Following two meetings, extensive discussions and much consideration, we now conclude that, unfortunately, it is not viable to proceed with a Parade this year. This is due to time constraints fo
llowing four years of absence. We understand that this is disappointing for many. We must, however, deliver the extremely exciting news that plans are now in place for the inaugural 🍀💚 Tyrrellspass Celebration of St. This festive, traditional afternoon of music, dance and entertainment will take place on Friday the 17th of March 2023 from 2.00p.m. on The Village Green. More information on this initiative will be available soon! Our new, vibrant committee is in place, and we are ready to plan, to work and to celebrate. The Tyrrellspass St. Patrick’s Day Parade will return on Sunday the 17th of March 2024 at 2.00p.m., and as always, we would be delighted to welcome new volunteers to our committee. Join us on Monday evenings at 8.30p.m. in Tyrrellspass G.A.A. Pavilion to assist in organising this year’s Celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, and next year’s Tyrrellspass St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The work begins now, and we need your support more than ever. Many thanks to you all. This is our village and our St. Patrick’s Day - it’s up to all of us to make it memorable! 🍀
