Stage Stars Academy Midlands based Stage School providing professional training in Drama, Song and Dance All our tutors are professional Teachers, Musicians, Dancers and Actors.

Stage Stars Academy is a performing arts centre set up to provide young people with the best in training in all aspects of Drama, Song and Dance, while also thriving in confidence building and character development. Our aim throughout the year is to provide a platform for young people to develop and grow as individuals through the various different aspects of Drama. We will have three 40min class

es for each person in Singing , Dancing and Acting. Also throughout the term we will provide each person with the option to take exams through the Leinster School of Music and Drama and we will have an end of year show to showcase each and every one of our students to a full audience . Classes take place each Saturday Morning from 10:30- 12:30 , throughout three 10 week terms- Sept-Nov, Nov-Feb , Feb – May , with all school holiday weeks free. There will be 3 age groups in each class- Juniors , Inters, and Seniors making sure your child gets the individual attention that they need.

Introducing Deirdre Higgins. This Friday, May 1st, RTÉ lyric fm marks its 27th anniversary with a special programming event, New Generation Voices, showcasing some of Ireland’s most exciting emerging vocal talent. This initiative is presented in association with the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition.

Soprano Deirdre Higgins has been a member of the Irish National Opera Studio since 2023. Her experience with INO includes covering key roles such as Mimì in La Bohème (Puccini) and Marguerite in Gounod’s Faust and she has sung the role of Giannetta in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore.
