Finishing out Art with Anna for now with recreations of my favourite painting!
Our starry nights started with painting tin foil blue, marking out our shape with cotton buds before pressing down paper to print the background. Everyone’s had the same feel but their own unique design and we painted in some colour and added black card for the town and cedar tree. I like to think Van Gogh would be impressed by these amazing artists

A month of lovely friends, birthdays, sunshine and house stuff. And the month I wore the same top every time I left the house apparently ☺️

Chalk dipping art 🤩🤩
Lovely project for classroom or home!
Take a tub of water and scrape some chalk over it to create a mix of colours.
Gently lay a piece of card on top of the water and remove.
Let it dry (hairdryer helps) and use your fabulous coloured card as the background for whatever creative thing takes your fancy.
We used scrap materials from our stash to make collages and felt tip pens.
The kids in art club really enjoyed this one!
Loved how we learned a new art process together but their finished pieces were all unique 🙌🏻✨

April 2nd - Happy World Autism Day!

Every day is autism day for me. In my home, in my work, in many of my friendships and in my own day to day life.

Take some time today to read a little about autism, challenge yourself to gain a little more understanding. Autism is vast and every person is different but many adaptations you can make are free and good for all!

Time to get educated, to change your mindset
Not so you can be “kind and compassionate” to us, we’re alright for pity thanks anyway 😄
but learn more so that you don’t miss out!

Every persons’ story has great value and the autistic community have much to add to society.
Celebrate today (and everyday) 🧡

Celebrating our roundy birthdays with my bestie, art fun, work stuff, cocktails & coffees, a retreat in kinsale, seeing how many friends we can squeeze into our sitting room. Lots of craic in March despite a whole lot of sickness 🤧 bring on healthier April 💪🏻 💪🏻

My favourite new art activity - mosaics from … lasagne 🤩🤩
Paint dried lasagne sheets, it dries quickly then break and stick onto contact paper however you like.
Fabulous!

Delighted with life in Amsterdam last week where I got to see some fabulous art both in galleries and fun installations 😍
In our last ‘Art with Anna’ my little artists recreated and reimagined Piet Mondrians work. Swipe to see their explorations with shape and colour 😍😍😍
