Best of luck to the Irish casts and crews tomorrow in LA, wish I was there! Fourteen nominations. Way to go Ireland for a tiny country. The most ever in our tiny movie industry. For those interested it’s worth checking out Section 481, a tax incentive that gives overseas productions made in Ireland, thirty-two to thirty four percent in a tax write off but the company that supplies this, must be based in the Republic of Ireland and the great news is you can choose your own overseas cast and crew. Tomorrow will do nothing but assist our very small movie industry in Ireland. Go green, go!!!

I do hope my good friends in the film industry in the UK and the US can join us for our screening of Abbey Leaks on October 18th, 2019 at 6:30pm in the amazing Country Kerry at the Killarney Cinema, Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland for the Kerry International Film Festival. If not please read up on the co-production film agreement we have with the UK in case of no deal Brexit which we all hope won’t happen very shortly now. Also including County Kerry, got an extra five percent on the Irish tax incentive Section 481. Only eleven counties got that and on behalf of that long campaign, we would like to thank An Uachtaráin and the Irish Secretary of Finance for listening. Sorry Dublin city was cut out as just too expensive to shoot there now sadly. So County Kerry now has thirty-seven percent tax off for making a movie here. Also as you know the end scene of Star Wars was shot here but let’s not forget David Lean’s Ryan’s Daughter was shot not far from where Star Wars shot their last scene. Lean loved it here for two years making that movie and when was asked had he any regrets, he just said “leaving my new home Country Kerry”. Ok we can’t control the weather but when you see the sights and views, you will see personally what an amazing film location County Kerry, Ireland is.

It's been simply a crazy three months folks, co-writing and producing a movie I never thought would be so crazy but I am back! "Inspire Forever Productions “Abbeyleaks” was shot in Tralee, Co.Kerry from February 1st until February 3rd, 2018, co-written by US award winning DOP/Director Phillip Briggs and Patrick McDonnell (also the Producer) with Tralee investor Kerry Leane funding the film and our amazing mentor and advisor Brian Nolan. Inspire Forever Productions would like to thank the Kerry County Council, Tralee Garda and the people of Tralee for their patience for all our approved major street closures and as the team said because of your kindness and assistance to make this production work so well, we will be back with our feature film "Archangels" (a four week shoot in Co. Kerry and one week in Morocco).
