Our incredible students and teachers have poured their hearts into this show — from the first rehearsal to the final curtain call. We are so proud of every single one of them! 🌟

WORKSHOP SATURDAY!!!!! The students can’t wait to have our full day of a workshop with Davóg Burke on Saturday. He is a versatile performer whose career has been built on a lifelong dedication to dance, music, and theatre. Davóg’s journey in performing arts began at just 3 years old when he started Irish dancing. He trained and competed at the highest levels, gaining incredible stage experience and discipline.
At 19, he transitioned into full-time training, completing a Professional Dance Diploma at “The College of Dance” (2021–2023), where he studied a wide variety of styles.

Eager to grow further as a performer, Davóg then trained at the “International College of Musical Theatre” (2023–2025), where he recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. His training has shaped him into a versatile and dynamic performer, combining his strong dance background with acting and vocal performance.

Shannon Star Entertainment Ltd are holding Auditions in Collis Sandes this Wednesday looking for female soloists age 18+ along with a younger female singer (age 8-11 years) to play part of the 'Cailleach Chiarraí' in an upcoming Halloween outdoor Spectacle. Songs and Spoken word will be interspersed with Fire performances etc. & they are looking for a vocalist performer to commit to 2/3 rehearsals and three performances (Tralee, Killarney and Listowel) between 25th Oct to Nov. 2nd 2025.

This performance is part of Kerry County Councils 'Samhain Chiarraí' Festival under the new Fáilte Irelands 'Home of Halloween' programming. OUR TEACHERS- We have exciting news we have a new teacher Roisin Moriarty. Roisin is a recent graduate from MTU Cork School of Music, with a BA in Musical Theatre. Having begun performing at the age of 8, she has developed strong skills in musical theatre dance, ballet, jazz, tap and choreography. Most recently Roisin was dance captain for her 4th year production of ‘9 to 5’ under the direction of famous Irish musical theatre performer Killian Donnelly. She also appeared in ‘Flashdance’ with BMG sound in 2024 and 2025. Roisin was the choreographer for the MTU Musical Society Inters submission of ‘Kinky Boots’ in 2024, as well as creating multiple pieces during her college years. She has also been a special guest for dance masterclasses in L.D Dance and Sparrow Academy of dance&stage. We are delighted to have Roisin on our faculty of teachers and she can’t wait to meet ye all!!!!

OUR TEACHERS-Sharon Costello is a Speech & Drama Teacher & Youth Theatre Practitioner, TAP and BLAST Artist from Tralee, Co. Kerry.

She holds a First Class Honours Degree in Folk Theatre Studies which she completed at the Institute of Technology, Tralee and run in association with Siamsa Tire. From there she went on to complete a First Class Honours Masters Degree in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of Limerick in 2010.

Her work since then has led her to working with some amazing youth theatres and stage schools such as Free Range Youth Theatre, Free Radicals Youth Theatre, Dúisigh Youth Theatre, Bryan Carr School of Performing Arts, Jackie O’ Mahony School of Performing Arts and many more primary and secondary schools across the county.

Sharon founded her own school, Sharon Costello Speech & Drama, in 2014, becoming a fully qualified teacher after gaining her Licentiate Diploma from the Irish Board of Speech and Drama in 2016.

Her passion is giving young people a voice, building their confidence, and creating a safe, creative space where they can explore, imagine & perform. 💫

OUR TEACHERS-Bryan Carr ATCL Dip. is a Singing Teacher of extraordinary ability. Having studied in Dublin, Los Angeles, Maastricht, Glasgow & London, he toured over 12 countries performing to tens of thousands of people and eventually in 2002 settled back in Kerry. Bryan is Director of Bryan Carr School of Performing Arts since 2008 and has been teaching singing for over 18 years. Bryan teaches the basics in the Estill Voice Model. He himself is always upskilling and currently working through his CFP.
He is director of Shannon Star Entertainment LTD an Event, Production and Venue Management Company.
Bryan also presents a fun Singing Chef show as The Kerry Wedding Singers for various Weddings and celebration functions in Kerry.

Bryan says; “As a Singing Teacher you need to be able to develop students voices with experience and constant upskilling behind you. There are so many Music Teachers or even ‘Singers’ who presume teaching an instrument and voice are one and the same and do so without any understanding of the fundamentals of vocal pedagogy. Be it FVFs, Onsets, Thyroid & Cricoid Movement, Body Cover, AES, Anchoring etc. Both in Stage School and privately I cover all this and for juniors they may not be aware that the fun vocal work I do is actually strong technical exercises and muscle building; My Seniors will always have strong vocal foundation with former students currently in Performance Colleges and working in the Industry throughout the world; its something I feel passionate about and hope to get every young singing student & parent aware of”

SUMMER STAGE CAMPS Join us for our 16th annual Summer Stage Camp in performing arts of singing, dance and acting both indoors and outdoors at Collis Sandes House, Tralee running from 10am until 2pm culminating in end of Camp performance on the Friday afternoon. Bryan Carr School of Performing Arts has its Studios at Collis Sandes House, Tralee, County Kerry. Classes in Singing, Acting and Drama take place each Saturday during School Term from 11am-2pm for Primary and 2pm-5pm Post Primary. Group Class exams and two stage musicals are presented annually.
